High Speed Photoreceivers from FEMTO

Santa Rosa, CA. -- FEMTO GmbH has expanded their high performance Photoreceiver products to include:

• The LCA-S-400K series photoreceivers offer large area photodiodes combined with a built-in low-noise amplifier with transimpedance gain of 10⁷ V/A for medium speed applications from DC to 400 kHz.
• The HCA-S-200M series high speed photoreceivers can be used for bandwidths from DC up to 200 MHz with a gain of 2 x 10⁴ V/A.
• The HSA-X-S-1G4 series ultra fast photoreceivers have a bandwidth range from 10 kHz to 1.4 GHz. They combine large photodiodes (0.8 mm active diameter) with a ultra low noise GHz amplifier allow for extremely low NEP levels.
• The OE-200 series variable gain photoreceivers offer adjustable gain over a broad region from 10³ to 10¹¹ V/W. Their calibrated output it is ideally suited as a fast optical power meter for bandwidths up to 500 kHz.

All photoreceivers are available with either Si or InGaAs photodiodes covering a wavelength range from 190 nm to 1700 nm. The photoreceivers come with your choice of optical input connector.

In addition to these standard photoreceivers FEMTO also offers customized photoreceiver solutions in single and large quantities. The modules are based on FEMTO's sophisticated amplifier technology and can be optimized to meet the individual customer requirements.

Typical applications for these photoreceivers include spectroscopy, pulse and transient measurements, laser monitoring and triggering, general purpose opto-electrical measurements and use as optical front-end for oscilloscopes, A/D converters and lock-in amplifiers.
