FEMTO Low-Noise Cables for Signal Recovery

FEMTO has developed a series of low noise input and output cables for the FEMTO series of signal recovery amplifiers. Noise is critical when the signals are small and FEMTO has amplifiers that have noise levels down to the sub-femto amp. range.  To introduce noise because of the input or output cable would defeat the performance of these amplifiers.  For this reason, FEMTO has developed these low noise cables.

• On the input side of the amplifier, the low-noise CAB-LN1cables offer better performance up to 1 MHz.
• Above this frequency, FEMTO recommends the new CAB-HF1 cables.
• On the output side of ALL the FEMTO amplifiers, they recommend High Frequency CAB-HF1 cables. They offer good shielding against EM interference and good protection against unwanted ground loops (both important on the output side).
