smartGAS gas detection modules include precise and stable Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD) modules with low noise technology. These modules have features like:

  1. Precise measurement of Hydrogen (H2)
  2. Robust. Not affected by gases with dirt and dust because the measurement is not optical.
  3. It is nonselective, so good measurements in gas mixtures (see Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD) Selectivity).
  4. NDIR is a simpler technique, but can’t measure H2, can’t measure dirty gases and is selective (1, 2 & 3).
