FEMTO’s new DLPVA-101-B, -F and -BLN models offer sensitive voltage amplifiers for even more precise measurement of small voltage signals. They replace the corresponding DLPVA-100 variants. They have significantly lower noise, in some cases by an order of magnitude lower, while the range of functions and operation remain identical.

  • Voltage amplifiers with switchable Gain up to 100 dB (x 100,000)
  • Bandwidth DC to 100 kHz
  • DC-Drift 0.6 μV/°C
  • Input Noise down to 0.4 nV/√Hz
  • Switchable AC/DC-Coupling
  • Local and Remote Control
  • Input Impedance up to 1 TΩ

Offset Drift
The temperature drift of the input offset voltage is one of the decisive characteristics for the quality of a DC voltage amplifier. FEMTO Voltage Amplifiers have the DC performance of precision amplifiers. Therefore, even the 100 dB gain is well suited for DC-coupling without the need for permanent offset voltage adjustments.

Bandwidth
The bandwidth of an ideal variable gain amplifier is independent of the gain setting which is very important for measuring fast signals and pulses. The bandwidth of FEMTO’s DLPVA voltage amplifiers remains constant at 100 kHz (-3 dB) up to the highest gain setting. Wideband noise can be reduced by switching the upper cut-off-frequency to 1 kHz.

Controls
Parameters, e.g. gain settings, bandwidth etc. can all be controlled by local switches directly on the amplifier. Operation is straightforward and the chosen gain setting is displayed by LEDs. For remote control, each switch is provided with a corresponding TTL-Bit. Mixed operation is also possible.

Flexibility
Six different DLPVA voltage amplifier models offer a high degree of flexibility. Our customers can choose either a single ended or a true differential input. The input impedance is 1 MΩ or lower for our bipolar models and an exceptional high 1 TΩ for our FET models allowing measurements of signals from very high impedance sources. Finally the noise is as low as 0.4 nV/√Hz for the model DLPVA-100-BUN-S.
